Upcoming Events & Donations
We strive to provide environments and opportunities for our church body to carry out that vision. 2C is a practical way for us to send our Church into our local community to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing compassion and care (2C) through our local missions.
Our 2C Ministries include areas that you and your family can serve our community through community projects in the neighborhood, our Adopt-A-Parks, feeding the homeless and hurting in our community, serving at local nursing homes and pregnancy centers, our pantry and coaching ministry.
Our goal is to “bridge” the gap from self-sufficiency and needing temporary assistance by providing nonperishable groceries. We are guided by the Bible, share our Relationship with Jesus Christ, honor the Integrity of those in need, Disciple those who are seeking help, show Grace to all no matter their circumstance, and Encourage them with prayer and coaching.

As the body of Christ, we strive to extend a helping hand. We have found that Community Projects benefit the entire community. Through various community projects we help improve environments within Volusia County for all that live and visit the area, while expressing God's care and compassion for all the people through our service to them.
Groups or Families serve once per month, to clear debris and freshen up Veteran's Memorial Park, Coleman Park and Mill Lake Park, our adopted parks. In addition, seasonal tasks are needed if you are interested such as planting flowers, paint freshening, etc. For additional details please sign-up online or the Sending Zone after any service.
We are currently seeking individuals with specific skills for a few mini projects that are in the works. Skills needed include carpentry, masonry, general handyman, etc.
Homeless And Hurting
Our first reach is extended to those who have a need for a cold drink on a hot day or a hot meal, typically the homeless or hurting families. This ministry encompasses a few avenues that reach basic food and clothing needs of those we meet.
Orange City Campus
3rd Wednesday of each month we go out into the community to provide a cool/hot drink to any one in our path! We pass out reminders of our monthly missions, in addition to any upcoming special event. As we talk to many people, on our travels in the parks and walking through the city, we extend an invitation to those we meet to join us at a weekend worship experience with us on one of our campuses.
4th Saturday of each month through Mobile Ministry we provide a picnic in the park!
Our team meets at the Journey OC Campus one hour prior to pray and fill the van with manna bags, a hot meal, clothes, essential items and devotionals. Then, we're off to meet people where they are! Once at the park, teams will pray over the meal, read devotion and provide the items they have in the van that will meet the needs of those they are ministering to that day. We typically serve 75-100 people each park mission.
We will also be serving our Orange City homeless and hurting friends at the Orange City Trailer Park on 4th Saturdays. There will be a devotion time with a hot breakfast each 4th Saturday!

Pregnancy Center Partnerships
We partner with local crisis pregnancy centers that are dedicated to helping people facing unplanned pregnancies. Their mission is to meet the practical, emotional and spiritual needs of those facing unplanned pregnancies.
Orange City Campus
Grace House is the local crisis pregnancy center we have partnered with in West Volusia County for many years. We connect our volunteers to serve in many different areas at GHPC on a regular basis. One way to provide compassion and care is by hosting diaper drives that we have annually on and with formula, clothing and other donations that are brought to our campus throughout the year.
We are excited to begin a new partnership in with Crisis Pregnancy Center right here in Sanford! • Crisis Pregnancy Center | 1002 S French Ave Sanford, FL
Sending Zone • 2C Hub
Sending is the last step on the Road of Faith. 2C is a practical way for us to send our Church into our local community to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing compassion and care (2C) through our local missions
It was designed to create a centralized location for our church body to get more information about local sending opportunities and to sign-up for many of these opportunities.
While you are at the 2C HUB don't forget to pick up a Manna Bag to share with the Homeless in our community and surrounding areas. Manna Bags are a fantastic way to just roll down your window and give someone hope.
Manna Bags were developed to equip our church body to engage with those who are homeless. Manna Bags empower our church body to share "manna for a day" with the Homeless & Hurting in our community by meeting basic, spiritual and physical needs. Manna Bags are a great way to put hope in the hand of the hopeless, just roll down your window and give someone hope today!
What is in a Manna Bag? Every Manna Bag has each food group and personal hygiene items, accompanied with a resource insert. The concept was created to meet basic nutrition needs for each day and resources for future needs. Each Bag Includes: Breakfast Bar - grains, Pop-Top Beef Stew - protein, Raisins - fiber, Pudding - calcium, Bar Soap, Toothbrush/paste, Cutlery Kit, Printed Insert Front: Worship Service information for Spiritual Growth Back: Ministry resources including Mobile Ministry, Interfaith Kitchen, etc. that provide clothes, tents, hot meals, prayer and Bible fellowship.
How much does a Manna Bag cost? We offer Manna Bags FREE to our church body in the Sending Zone at the 2C HUB. It costs approximately $4 to create each Manna Bag from the bag to insert. If you feel led to give a monetary donation, you can note Manna Bag on the memo of your check or offering envelope anytime.
