Fall Community Project – Orange City Campus

ALL COMMUNITY PROJECT OCT 8 |  9-12 pm

As the body of Christ, we strive to extend a helping hand. We have found that Community Projects benefit the entire community. Through various community projects, we help improve environments within Volusia County for all who live and visit, while expressing God's compassion and care for all the people through our service to them.

We will host our fall project on Saturday, October 8, from 9am-Noon. We will meet on our OC Campus at 9 am, to break into groups and pray. From there, we will go serve our neighbors at our adopted parks. We are offering 4 areas in which to serve. 

Area 1 – Planting the Community Garden and cleaning up at all of our Adopted Parks.
Area 2 – Refreshing the original Mill Lake Park.
Area 3 – Helping a few neighbors with yard work. TBD
Area 4 – Community Awareness! We walk the neighborhood to let neighbors know about the garden and to join us for lunch back at the Journey -- and of course invite them to the Journey this weekend!

If you have yard equipment, gardening or painting tools please reply with what you are bringing to help us prepare for the day!

We will end our project with a fellowship lunch!
